Meet Lauren Joy

Back in July I had the opportunity to spend some time with Lauren Joy Baranowski (A.K.A. Miss Palm Beach Nationwide). The shoot was for Worth Avenue Models, an up and coming model agency in Palm Beach, Florida. Lauren was not only an experienced runway model but also a talented makeup artist and a nail specialist. Adding to this impressive resume, Lauren was later named Miss Palm Beach Nationwide!

We headed out to Palm Beach's famous Worth Ave. for our backdrop. There is no shortage of excellent locations to shoot there, especially if you are going for a fashion theme. With all the little hidden treasures of Worth Ave, this was looking like a very promising shoot.

Lauren was a pleasure to photograph. She gave her all the whole time and contributed positively with some very creative ideas of her own.

She had one request when we started the shoot. We must get a shot in front of her favorite door! Yes, she has a favorite door on Worth Ave. and it's not hard to see why. I made sure to get a couple of different looks there.

We kept shooting until the sun came down. Lauren was still at 100% even after hours of shooting!

I hope to be able to work with Lauren again in the future, and wish her great success in her role as Miss Palm Beach Nationwide.
